Heavy Machinery Movers

When County Lifting began over 30 years ago, we moved a wide variety of objects from rare and valuable pieces of artwork right the way through to complex and large machinery used in manufacturing. Since then, we have been continually improving our processes and workflows while branching off in different services, but being heavy machine movers is what we love. No matter the size of the project, we are able to support them all, from just single items like vehicles up to a full production line or manufacturing facility. These can all be moved throughout the UK as well as being transported into and around Europe if required.

Our specialist fleet of equipment is one of the largest and most varied in the industry which allows us to supply numerous combinations tailored to meet the individual requirements of each and every job we complete. Working this way has helped the team at County Lifting become known for providing not only a Cost-Effective service, but one with no compromises, completing each machinery moving job to a very high standard. We have a 24/7 response service so that we can react quickly to any situation to ensure that you have a minimal amount of downtime.

If you are having a complete factory relocation or need to move out of one unit but aren’t ready to move into the next, we can also offer machinery storage as part of our machinery moving services. The facilities we have are all alarmed and with monitored CCTV system as well as being patrolled by guards. For extra security though, we have an additional insurance package for any high-value pieces of machinery whilst they are in our storage. Short term or long term, single items to complete production lines, we can store it safely and securely.

One of the most popular pieces of lifting equipment in our fleet that we use on a daily basis to move machinery is our Versa-Lifts. With up to an impressive 16,300kgs of lifting capacity, or even up to 27,300kgs when the load is centred on the forks, these really put the ‘Versa’ in Versatility. Our heavy machine vehicles can deliver these straight to your site, ready to be operated under client control and supervision. For more complex jobs, we can supply these with our own highly trained and experienced engineers to control the lift. With the option of Remote-Control operation and LPG or Dual Fuel, these machines are suitable for a wide variety of heavy lifting jobs.

On the other end of the scale, our Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 is our largest mobile crane in the fleet. Boasting 130T capacity, and up to 60m in boom length, there isn’t much heavy machinery this crane can’t handle. Not every job needs something quite this size though which is why we have various Tadano and Liebherr mobile cranes to suit a range of jobs. The Tadano 20t is the smallest option we have, but with 40t, 45t, 65t and 100t variants as well so that we can ensure the correct crane for the job can be supplied. So that the cranes can work on a flat and stable, we also have wooden Ekki Mats available to hire for all our cranes that utilise outriggers for stability. This is to ensure the heavy machinery doesn't damage soft ground it may need to be on during the machine moving.

For the transportation aspect, the leg work is done by the real large machinery movers; our lorries. From a 36 T/M HIAB Lorry Loader up to the largest CAT2 Scania’s with a 4-axle step frame trailer with ramps, capable of moving large loads like industrial Silos or complex pieces of a manufacturing line.

All of our supplied equipment comes with a certificate of test to show that it will conform with all the latest Health and Safety guidelines, as well as providing risk assessments for every job. With years of experience under our belt and many happy clients, we are the go-to company for all your professional machinery relocation needs.
